Here's hoping there's more of it soon...

If you're like me, you seek and find inspiration where you can find it. An old friend of mine, Mark Stephan, provides it in spades.

Five years ago, Mark was rendered a quadriplegic after a bicycle accident. Today, he is 65 miles away from completing a cross-country trip on a recumbent bicycle from San Diego to St. Augustine, FL, which he began in April. He hopes to finish today.

It's amazing.

Mom Faces Jail for Making Son Walk to School

From ABC News:

An Arkansas mother is being charged with a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a minor after she made her son walk 4.6 miles to school in order to "teach him a lesson."

Valerie Borders, 34, told police her 10-year-old son had been suspended from the bus for a week and she was making him walk to school as punishment.

If convicted, she faces up to one year in jail and a maximum fine of $1,000.

This is just pathetic.
