What Some Supporters of 'ObamaCare' Believe

Here is a sampling of what supporters of universal, government-provided health care are saying...

Sample #1:

Im tired of listening to republicans/conservatives talk about their veiws on healthcare. If your solution doesn't include 100% free healthcare for every natural born citizen then I'm not intestested in listening to you.

Sample #2:

The healthcare reform bill released by the House Of Representatives is an excellent bill as I understand it. It is carefully written, and thoughtfully constructed, informed, prudent and wise. This bill will save trillions of dollars, and millions of your lives.

Sample #4:

So what happens with the needy simply take what they need from the rich by force? If the rich are going to hoard all the available resources then the poor will eventually have no choice but to rise up and destroy them. See the Fall of the Roman Empire and the French Revolution. I prefer to recommend actual historical events and not silly sci-fi novels as the basis for my political arguements.

Also I do deserve healthcare. I firmly believe that. What's the point of civilization if not to provide order and improve the quality of life for people within it? I pay taxes. I get healthcare.

The silence of this author [who is against a single-payer government-provided system] regarding the unmitigated success of the VA health care system is deafening.

You are assuming those are people who are posting their actual beliefs. In fact they are paid, organized Obama operatives. They apparently never quit, even after the election.

Ironically, one of the reasons cited for the fall of the Roman Empire is a collapsed economy due to the devaluing of their currency by minting more with less and less silver.

Lack of universal healthcare is usually not cited.

Interesting that one of them cites the Fall of the Roman Empire as an appropriate historical example. If we referred to them as Vandals in the historical sense, or "looters" in the Randian sense, they would revolt. And yet, they label themselves such.

Also, I think the French Revolution would have taken a somewhat different course if the aristocrats had magazine-fed semiautomatic weapons. I'll start worrying about leftist mob violence when I start seeing more non-Harley related ponytails and pro-Obama bumper stickers at the range.

What a minute, moron. You don't pay ENOUGH taxes to pay for your healthcare.

Would you like a big load of economy-slowdown with to go with your pompous moralizing? How about having your pocket picked, no choice, and rationing of health-care at the end of your life--or, as our fearless President said to the guy whose mom's life was extended five years (and counting) by expensive surgery "sometimes, you're just going to have to do without the surgery and just take a painkiller" and DIE, DIE, DIE, YOU MORON.

Would applicants for treatment have to supply proof of "natural born" citizenship? Would a "certificate of live birth" (which is NOT a birth certifiate) qualify?

(Sample 3): "Back Obama and Universal Health Care."

I didn't know the universe was sick.
