ABC, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC will cover Michael Jackson's memorial service live.

They will be joined by E! network. CBS will have its 'news anchor' there, but has not yet decided whether it will cover the event live.

I believe they will, ABC is knocking soaps of the air for it.I will be at work and then watch TBS and TNT when I get home. this is way to much-they are acting like the a former president died. I can understand E! covering the memorial but the broadcast networks? give me a break

Your correct Dave and I would add this. Islam prohibits autopsy or any desecration of the body and also requires buriel before sundown on the day of death. In no way is MJ a true Muslim, he only converted for the money.

It should be obvious by now that the alphabet channels plus the other desperate networks are struggling for viewers. They will broadcast anything to pump up their numbers.

Too bad the country is burning and no one is there to cover the story.

Oh well, let's see what E! has to say about MJ's spending habits, make-up preparation, wardrobe faux pas ...

To all,is Fox going to cover it? I was upset day MJ died, and it was wall to wall coverage next few days. I sent email but did not get response, that he was dead, and I was more concerned with Cap & Tax bill than MJ. I had to watch CSPAN to get that info.

Fox had it for several days. I had on briefly this afternoon, they were talking about how the tickets are being distributed and then scalped, via email. Does anyone care?
