The 'Most Toxic, Cynical Forces in American Politics'

Andrew Sullivan:
The great clarifier of this primary season has been the in-gathering of most of the most toxic, cynical forces in American politics - Democrat and Republican - to extinguish the Obama campaign.
Let me get this straight: Those who do not support Obama, a Chicago Democrat, include "most of the most toxic, cynical forces in American politics." Really?

Well, I note that Sullivan did say that only "most of the most toxic, cynical forces in American politics" are apparently arrayed against Obama.

Perhaps by this he means the rest of the "most toxic, cynical forces in American politics" are on Obama's side? I mean, come on, Obama is a Chicago Democrat, right?

In all seriousness, will someone please explain to me how Sullivan can have degrees from both Oxford and Harvard?

Oxford and Harvard don't have the standards they used to have.

Or, alternatively, years of mind-altering substances have done damage to Sully. I seem to remember he was more reasonable a million years ago when he worked for The New Republic with Kondracke and Kinsley and Barnes.

Even my internet filter at work knows how irrelavant Sullivan is these day- AS gets blocked just like YOUTUBE.

Dementia is one of the symptoms of AIDS. Could be this bumboy's disease has progressed that far? But who bothers to read his crap anyhow. I stopped when his gushing about his "husband" or "wife," whatever is the case, became actively nauseating.
