But this year also will mark another ignominious anniversary for longtime Cubs fans. This is the 25th anniversary of the obscenity-laced Lee Elia rant after a Cubs loss to the [Dodgers] on April 29, 1983, in which the manager insulted fans in a tirade that filled the airwaves and sports pages for days.
