Former Austin mayor and current Texas State Sen. Kirk Watson, a prominent Barack Obama supporter, is completely stumped when MSNBC's Chris Matthews asks him to list Sen. Obama's legislative accomplishments.
Poor Kirk Watson -- how could he have guessed that he would be on the hot seat when Chris Matthews decides to step up and do the job "real" journalists are unwilling to do?
On the other hand, it's not like he could have had a prepared answer. The best thing he could have done was pull the earphone and shrug his shoulders.
Obama so impressivly qualified in addition to his magnetic swoon- inducing stage presence. His resume' is every bit as thick as Chauncy Gardiner's, and this Benny Hinn routine he's got going this week is awesome.
Big deal why? It's been commonly acknowledged during the primary that Obama's biggest weakness is that he doesn't have much of a political record.
They asked a tough question, and the Obama supporter didn't think fast enough to spin it out. In terms of embarrassing campaign moments, it can barely place.
P.S. Now that I've thought of it, I'm lobbying for a top 10 list of the primaries' most embarrassing moments.
