Since the [anti-Bush, anti-war caucus] insists that [Alex Jones and 9/11 conspiracy theorists] are completely irrelevant to the [anti-war crowd], I have no idea why they are fixated by [their support] of Ron Paul. For me, however, it seals the deal. [Alex Jones and his supporters claim that 9/11 was an inside job.]. He is a charlatan and a [conspiracy-theory] phony. He [and his conspiracy-theory crowd have] enriched [themselves] at the expense of millions of gullible [people] who did not understand that this man's sole principle is his own power and wealth. It doesn't surprise me that he sees eye to eye with [Ron Paul]. They are very similar characters. But he does represent what may be becoming the consensus among [anti-war conspiracy theorists]: that the war on Islamic terrorism is the prime issue; and that the way to tackle it is by [blaming the US], [pulling out of the Middle East], [abandoning] Israel solely to [appease radical Islamists], and entrenching [pacifism] as a pillar of American national security policy. The fusion of [Paul's John Birch-like isolationist foreign policy] with [Alex Jones' anti-corporate, anti-free trade, Utopian pacifism] is indeed one future path for the [the anti-war crowd]. It is enlightening to me to witness two very similar politicians sink their differences to forge that new, [blame America First, Kumbaya-like] direction.
