A Heritage Foundation panel discussion on the Iraq war today was interrupted and shouted down by Code Pink activists, a leftist anti-war group. (via Hot Air and The News Buckit)
The five-person panel featured the American Enterprise Institute's Frederick W. Kagan, a strong advocate of the surge strategy in Iraq, and The Brookings Institution's Michael E. O’Hanlon, a supporter of the Iraq war turned critic whose New York Times op-ed supporting the military efficacy of the surge caused a firestorm of criticism from the anti-war Left.
As Hot Air notes, most of the fireworks occur in the second video. This lack of respect for free speech is appalling, and speaks volumes about those who engage in it.
(Note that this was taped by Code Pink itself, and put up on YouTube. They're apparently proud of their actions.)
