There's more on the story we linked to yesterday concerning members of the royal family of Qatar who held up the scheduled take-off of a commercial jet for three hours because females in the entourage were seated next to men who were not relatives.

Furious passengers whistled and clapped as the row intensified before the captain eventually ordered the women to be escorted off the plane.

The princesses, wearing traditional Arab dress, were returning from a day's shopping in Milan.

Apparently such people can 'shop for the day' in Milan and live in London, partaking in the fruits of Western Civilization, but they can't arrange their travel plans in an organized enough fashion such that they don't inconvenience others who are then unfortunate enough to come into contact with the fundamentalists' rude, selfish behavior when one of the precepts of their pre-Enlightenment belief system comes into contact with the modern world.

It took three hours to sort this out? The double standards need to stop.

But of course some simply bend over backwards for this 'special religion.'

Here's an example from New York, where some jerk who threw two Korans into toilets at Pace University is being charged with a hate crime, for crying out loud.

If you ask me, the whole slew of 'em -- from the royal jerks on the plane to the Koran-flushing idiot to the hate crime whiners, all of 'em -- need to be given "swirlies" for their various idiocies.
