Iran's Khatemi Denies Criticizing Holocaust Conference

Iranian politics are quite strange...

After being quoted by the Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot as being critical of a Holocaust-denial conference held in Tehran, former Iranian president Mohammad Khatami disavowed the quote, according to Agence France-Presse:

"I never gave any interview to any Israeli newspaper and the comments attributed to me have been made up," Khatemi's spokesman Mohammad Ali Abtahi quoted the former president as saying.

Abtahi told AFP in Tehran that Khatemi considered the article to be nothing more than "machinations by the Israeli media".

Just in case you were wondering, this is the same Mohammad Khatami that was present with Sen. John Kerry while the Massachusetts senator made his latest stupid remarks... (see previous post)

Kerry continues to get his free ride from the MSM - when he makes stupid quotes about Kyoto, for example, well wasn't he one of the original Senators that voted UNANIMOUSLY against it? "Oh yeah, I was for it before I was against it or wait, uh, I meant....damn you people, you don't understand nuance!"
He is nothing but a traitor to the republic - one of Stalin's useful idiots.

The Senate never voted on Kyoto because Clinton never submitted it for ratification. Seems the vote count against it was something like 85 – 15 against it by Democrat vote counters. Kerry talked about “neocom regime” change as if Republicans were the inventors. Kerry voted for the Clinton bill that established regime change in Iraq as national policy. But we knew he was a lying idiot.
