No surprise. The Left has been purging there own as long as there has been a Left.
So is Kos going to out Carville for the infamous "bath house" incident all the CD insiders are talking about?
They'll take down Carville just like they took down Lieberman!
Wait...
KOS is going to end up in a DNC gulag where he will learn first hand the errors of his ways.
Quick send a 55 gallon drum of model airplane cement to Carville. If he doesn't start huffing soon he's gonna become an independent.
"What a tiresome little man Kos is..."
Well said. Or, as he so eloquently said about himself: "I'm an asshole".
Ask Kos how lemont's doing

Carville Changes his Tune Then: A November 14, 2004 appearance on Meet the Press: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6485241/ MR. CARVILLE: Can I finish? I'm not going to be--in most Democrats, the nature of being a Democrat is we're just--that's just not--we won't be--we're not going to be an anti-gay party. We're not going to be. We're--I can be conflicted about abortion, but I'm not going to be a member of a political party that tells some 32-year-old single mother of two that, you know, "You can't have an abortion," whose ex-husband might beat the living dickens out of her. I can--we can say we can have a better alternative, we can be about different things but that's not the nature of being a Democrat. Now: November 10, 2006 The candidate being floated to replace Dean? Harold Ford. Says James Carville, one of the anti-Deaniacs, "Suppose Harold Ford became chairman of the DNC? How much more money do you think we could raise? Just think of the difference it could make in one day. Now probably Harold Ford wants to stay in Tennessee. I just appointed myself his campaign manager." www.dailykos.com So now it is suddenly okay to have a self-proclaimed very religious (did a commercial in a church), pro-life, pro-constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage, head of the DNC? So either Carville is a complete hypocrite which is a distinct possibility or alternatively Harold Ford Jr. lied about his beliefs in his recent Senate campaign. I happen to believe the latter and not the former but the jury is still out.
A November 14, 2004 appearance on Meet the Press:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6485241/ MR. - - - - He should have added, "But we are going to tell her that she can't have a gun to defend herself from said ex-husband. Because women shouldn't be allowed to make certain choices."
Among the fevered left, disagreement is met by 'he's a complete hypocrite' (not JUST a hypocrite, mind you, but a complete one). Can one object to the official institutionalization of gay marriage and not be anti-gay? Of course. And then note the swipe against 'religion', which is apparently wrong in and of itself. (He's not just pro-life and anti-institutionalized gay marriage but he's - gasp - VERY RELIGIOUS!)
For the Democrats to go anywhere, they have to stop running purity tests and start finding ways to tolerate divergent viewpoints. If they have as many 'Ians' as I suspect, their Tuesday victory will be short-lived, indeed.
Who the f*ck is Kos to criticize Carville? What has he ever accomplished to warrant any attention? So far as I can tell the only thing the Kosmo-nuts can claim some credit for Lieberman's defeat in the democratic primary, which only led to a more humiliating loss for Lamont in the mid-term election. Well done.
That said, I find the suggestion of Harold Ford, Jr. as DNC chairman a little hard to imagine. To me a guy who has the 10 commandments printed on the back of his business card and is anti-gay marriage seems better suited for the Republican Party than the democrats. I hope Carville was joking, or just 'thinking out loud' as he occasionally does.
You people need to listen to Kos- he is a brilliant political strategist and can lead the Dems to ultimate Nirvana. Also, the netroots need to get behind IMPEACHEMENT NOW. Show some backbone! Go after the evil Bush and his criminal gang!
Mr. Snitch, first off use your real name before becoming a jerk.
Second-the blog is a Republican blog and it doesn't criticize Ford's positions other than to suggest he might have been less than truthful about them, it points that Carville is hypocritical to criticize Republicans for being anti-gay marriage by calling them anti-gay and criticizing Republicans for being pro-life in 2004 but then he touts a candidate in 2006 who holds the same views. I guess I shouldn't expect too much from idiots like you though.
Kos is right, despite being a tiresome, little man. We should all support Kos's efforts to fix the Democrats along his vision.
Kos sucks and he isn't particularly knowledgable about policy issues. That said, he was quite effective in the last election and played a large part in Democratic success in MT, VA, and RI (although Chafee probably just stunk as a candidate). He and his kossacks are willing to do anything to win and they raise a lot of money for candidates, which isn't that big a deal for Senators but for Congress in districts where raising a 1 million dollars helps a lot, it is.
He and and other far left bloggers help raise enough money for Jim Webb to barely win the primary and he and his minions did the dirty work to bring stories like Macacca to life and keep them going. Do you remember any negative stories on Webb during the campaign? While Webb claimed to have run on the issues he didn't. He allowed his subordinates to unfairly attack Allen as a racist and a self-hating jew amongst other things. Webb was way down until the Macacca incident. The mainstream media picked up a number of these stories and Webb received little of the criticsm for these actions. Kos is like a less knowledgable version of Rush Limbaugh, he can help motivate the base and raise money but you shouldn't listen to him for the direction of the party and ocassionally he will say something that will really hurt your party (i.e. Michael J. Fox comments for Limbaugh and Kos comments on the military contractors who were killed). Overall, he sucks because good candidate are less likely to want to run because anything that say can be twisted by these bloggers and they get nasty people, who ask comments like "did you spit on your first wife" but overall unfortunately while he lowers the discourse, in his current role he is good for the Democratic party. That could change and probably will if he tries to be kingmaker.
We know, Ian, we know... anyone who disagrees with you is a jerk or an idiot. You've certainly proven me wrong!
Once again Mr. Snitch you are taking my comments out of context. You claimed that I was criticizing Ford for being religious, anti-gay marriage, and was advocating a purity test for the Democratic party when nothing further could be true.
(1) As I demonstrated in my response I was citing a Republican blog and it doesn't criticize Ford's positions other than to suggest he might have been less than truthful about them. (2) The blog that I cite to shows that Carville is a hypocrite as he (not me) criticizes Republicans for being anti-gay marriage by calling them anti-gay and criticizing Republicans for being pro-life in 2004 but then he touts a candidate in 2006 who holds the same views. You have proven a that you lack the ability to read carefully and not take comments out of context. I am a Republican and I don't appreciate being called part of the left. You didn't disagree with me, you misunderstood what I was writing.
And your condescension and petty name-calling was meant to aid my comprehension of your meaning in exactly what way?
Mister Snitch, you are correct. I overreacted to your comments which had taken my remarks out of context and for that I apologize.
Fester, that language is inappropriate. We can dislike people like Kos and Carville without resorting to their level of rhetoric.
Kos, Carville, Ford, they're all slimy faggots. Who give a fuck what any of them do? They can all go and daisy chain one another.
