Feisty Iraqi Voter Speaks Her Mind

Special Report with Brit Hume just had a report from the Detroit area covering Iraqi ex-pats who were casting their votes for the upcoming December 15 elections.

The report included an interview with one 77-year-old woman who said, "Anyone who doesn't appreciate what America has done in Iraq ... what President Bush has done ... can go to hell."

Nice sentiment.

This is great. Remember she is speaking from Detroit. Unfortunately, I imagine in large areas of Iraq you would have to hold you sentiments close to your chest.

President Bush should invite her to the next state of the union address...I'd pay to see the expressions on the faces of the defeatocrats!

She is saying this in the face of death. If the Defeatocrats get their way, these women will be butchered just like in Vietnam and Cambodia.

Why is it that when the "peace" movement wins, dictators get into office and millions of people get butchered? Maybe we could call them the genocide movement.

Too bad America's feminists don't appreciate that President Bush has done more for women than Bill Clinton. Clinton did more to women than he did for them.

I heard this quote in her voice twice on Fox radio (don't get cable) and I think her name was Betty Turwiska. That's the closest I could get from hearing it to writing while driving. I closed my Red Bluff Daily News column with this quote, saying I couldn't have said it better.
