Chris Matthews: 'You Say Repub, I say Khmer Rouge...'

Can't those darned Democrats make up their highly 'nuanced' minds?

'The Republicans are ... Nazis, that's right. Yeah, yeah... er .. wait ... they're fascists. Um, no ... they're Christianists ... er, wait ... no, they're Nihilists. Yeah, yeah ... er ... wait ... they're "the Party of No." Wait, wait! I've got it! They're the Khmer Rouge! That's it!'

Cambodian Re-education camp? I think a better example would be the re-education & extermination camps planned by Obama's friend Bill Ayers.

The Republican party is trying to define a set of common principles. Perhaps Chris Matthews elsewhere describes how the party is enforcing these principles, but simply stating "this is what we believe" (or "this is what we stand for" or "this is what we mean by conservatism") is much different from saying "and now we shall force you to believe it too".

I'm not sure if I like Matthews impugning the name of the Khmer Rouge by implying they're like the Republican party.

Spoiler, you're probably more scandalized that Matthews is comparing the Khmer Rouge (i.e. YOU'RE fellow travelers) to the dreaded "rethuglicans".

Actually, I'm pretty happy Brown won since it'll ****ing teach people that running on the platform of, "but-but...this seat has always belonged to ...!" is a really really bad idea.

*nevermind Brown is pretty much a RINO and will get owned next cycle. Just like Democrats winning in areas they had no business winning in coming back to bite them, it cuts both ways.

What I remember best about the Khmer Rouge was the piles of bodies. Enemy bodies.

Is Chrissy suggesting that there will be be piles of dead Progressives once the Republican Rouge takes over?
