Chicago cools to Barack Obama, its hometown boy

The Times of London's Christina Lamb reports on discontent with President Obama in Chicago:

"He tickled the ears,... But we gotta see the follow-up."

Even here in Obama heartland [Chicago's South Side], one customer said he would vote Republican while others may not vote at all.

What the Obama Administration needs to learn is that everyone has an alarm clock, even if they are set for different times...

Tommy,
Here in "progressive" Austin,TX I've noticed a sudden disappearance of Obama-Biden bumper stickers. Maybe your thousands of readers out there throughout the nation and the world could look around and check if this is a widespread phenomenon? Also down, the comments of shrieking liberal twits on your blog. What did you do? Did you finally piss them off?

I don't live in Austin but this is an older, more liberal area. Some of my neighbors actually had pictures of The One in their front window saying "This house supports our President". Most of those are gone now.

I work next door to an IBEW local. In fact, my building shares a parking lot with them. Even here, those bumper stickers are gone, gone, gone. Nirvana!
